WHO IS BELLA WALKER?
Hi there! I am currently in my third year as an Industrial Design student at the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP.
Nature (and trees more specifically) is something that is very sacred to me. Over the past few years, I have developed a love for craftsmanship along with a dedication to sustainability that I often incorporate into my design process and inspiration. I am interested in spacial/experiential/interior design, furnishings, styling/aesthetic curation, home goods, and human-centered design.
I am somebody who loves a creative challenge that utilizes both sides of the brain — “creative, critical thinking”, I like to call it. I have been thinking, drawing, writing, painting, and creating in general for my entire life. I would consider myself a creative generalist. I enjoy working in small teams and problem solving. I am especially invigorated by the ideation phase of the design process.
All-in-all, my main goal is to leave Earth better than I found it; Following the design processes and philosophies I have developed and grown to love, I want to create life-enhancing products that highlight the warm, earthly beauty that surrounds us while still protecting the longevity of our planet.
